Local transport minister Stephen Lightwood will be among the speakers in Manchester
With the UK bus industry entering a period of rapid evolution, Passenger Transport has partnered with Transport Times to launch the seventh UK Bus Summit.
The event will take place on September 11, 2025, in Greater Manchester – the home of the locally-controlled Bee Network. Local transport minister Stephen Lightwood has been already been confirmed as the keynote speaker.
Supported by Transport for Greater Manchester, the Urban Transport Group and Confederation of Passenger Transport, the event will provide the opportunity to hear from decision-makers on the latest legislative, policy and practical developments across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, together with industry professionals, operators and the supply chain.
We are excited to be working with Transport Times to bring this important event back
Passenger Transport editor Robert Jack commented: “For six years the UK Bus Summit was the go-to event for those who wanted to understand where bus policy is at across the UK, and influence its direction of travel – but there hasn’t been one since 2020. We are excited to be working with Transport Times to bring this important event back. If you would like to get involved then please get in contact with us.”
Bookings will open in May. You can register your interest in attending by emailing: enquiries@transporttimes.co.uk
