Contract: Permanent – Full Time (up to 4 posts)
Salary: £40,221 – £43,421 (pending pay award)
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Working or Onsite)

Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager Produce, communicate, manage and update project information through all project stages including but not exclusively; schedules, reports, risk plans, change and cost measures, monthly reporting, final accounts and forecasting. You will manage all project risks, issues, opportunities, budgets, contracts and costs throughout the life of the project and pro-actively take responsibility to resolve or escalate as required.
You will manage the development, submission and approval of project business cases as required, and ensure compliance with the SYMCA Project Assurance Framework, and all other governance processes and procedures.
You will produce monthly and quarterly progress reports to ensure satisfactory progress and consistent delivery of projects aligned to the agreed funding, outputs and timescales for each project. You’ll analyse, interpret and use data to prioritise and allocate resources effectively.
You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and partnerships with Operators, Local Authorities, Funding Bodies and actively engage with members of the public.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You’ll have recent experience in all stages of Project Management including the development, implementation and use of all the necessary controls and processes to minimise delays, additional costs or reduced delivery against project plan and business case, to ensure successful delivery.
You will have experience of managing stakeholder relationships including senior stakeholders and members of the public with strong verbal, presentation, and written communications skills.
You’ll have a good understanding of, and ability to interpret policies, strategies and plans with the ability to produce quality documentation including reports, ensuring they are suitable for a wide range of different audiences, with a strong customer focus.
