The search is on to find the best in the business with the launch of the Talent in Mobility Awards

The search has begun to find Europe’s best and brightest people working within the public transport sector with the launch of this year’s Talent in Mobility competition.

Nominations are now being accepted in four categories – best young talent; best project manager; best manager; and the special career service award. The Talent in Mobility Awards aim to highlight those across Europe who, at various stages of their career, “deserve recognition from the profession as a whole”.

Anyone working in the mobility sector  in any European country can be nominated, whether they are part of an industrial company, operator, transport organising authority, local authority, service company, non-profit association, ministry or government department.

The deadline for nominations is April 6 with the winners to be announced at this year’s Transports Publics show which will be held in Paris on June 12-14. Further details can be found at the Transports Publics website at www.transportspublics-expo.com.

Once again the nominations will be judged by an independent panel composed of transport journalists from around Europe. All have been chosen for their expertise and familiarity with the industry as a whole. Visitors to the Transports Publics website will also have the opportunity to vote for an award-winner from the shortlist published online.
